Muskoka Bear Wear began in the fall of 2003 with its first location in Bracebridge, ON Canada. The goal was to bring a quality, comfy, affordable brand name to Muskoka that truly reflected the region.
By May of 2005 we had outgrown our 1st small location in Bracebridge and moved into what is now our flagship store, 3500 sq/ft, in the heart of downtown. By 2007 we added our 2nd store, a seasonal location, in beautiful Port Carling, ON. Then in the fall of 2008 we opened our doors in historic downtown Huntsville, ON and in spring of 2011 we were welcomed with open arms in Bala, ON.
Muskoka Bear Wear is leading the way in e-commerce as well with a fully integrated online shopping experience and we’re continuously developing new ways to reach our fan base through social media as well. Building a community and keeping connected with our customers is very important to us.
The secret to our success and growth is simple, we provide a great quality product, excel in giving the best possible customer service and stand behind everything we do.
Not only is Muskoka Bear Wear now the largest original clothing brand in Central Ontario, but the only to offer 100% Canadian Made goods as well. It’s easy to find clothing that says “Muskoka” or “Canada” on it, but shouldn’t it be made in Canada too? We think so.
