Probably one of the most fun running events that you will ever participate in, the Huntsville Half Band on the Run offers athletes the chance to run one of the hilliest running routes in Ontario. This race has a 1km kids run, 5km, 10km, and half marathon options. And if you want a truly Muskoka experience, then do the 5km canoe portage! All of the run routes feature quiet country roads that have very little road traffic during the race.
The upside is that the post race party is pretty amazing. Juno award winning artists typically are the headliners at a post race concert that features a beer tent and the chance to watch some wicked bands while relaxing on a blanket at River Mill Park.
