Words of Appreciation
The Muskoka Classic Indoor Tri was my first Tri experience. When I read about it, I thought that it would be a fun way to challenge myself to keep fit over the winter months. I dedicated time in my very busy retired schedule to swim each week, take at least one spin class at Motivations each week and to ski daily. It worked! I invited my university roomies to join the challenge. We were all impressed with the organization every step of the way. Registration was quick and easy. The volunteers were amazing. Everything ran smoothly and it was just plain fun. We are already planning our Winter Tri-weekend for 2018.
Mary SpringI had such a fun time at the TriMuskoka Winter Indoor Triathlon Classic. The organisers and volunteers were so helpful and supportive before, during, and after the race. The other competitors were so friendly and encouraging and I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many smiles at a sporting event. Thank you TriMuskoka – I’ll definitely be back next year!.
Jason KeonI had such a great time, I think everyone should try it out at least once. Everyone was super supportive of me being a “newbie” and I felt completely at ease during the entire day.
Courtney Lee ComeauThis experience was amazing the people were amazing from the cheering squad and all the volunteers to the other athletes I couldn’t have asked for a more friendly welcoming environment. I was so nervous, seeing as how I did no training at all and I totally went from the couch to a tri. I will 100% do it again next year, I have set the bar and intend to smash it next year with some training! More then anything else though I proved to myself that I can do it.
Lindsay HughesAs a complete beginner to triathlons, I was intimidated by the sport prior to participating. Joining TriMuskoka introduced me to a community of caring, talented and inspiring athletes who became friends and shared their knowledge. It has been a rewarding experience.
Daniel BradburyTriMuskoka offers the very best environment for a new or seasoned triathlete. From year-round training schedules with excellent coaching to a home –grown race, TriMuskoka is an all-inclusive triathlon club that goes the extra mile to make you part of the club. Regular social activities help any newcomer feel welcome and help build lasting relationships. I would recommend TriMuskoka to anyone considering or already competing in triathlon.
Russ BuckerfieldFor me, the biggest value of the club is training with a group of similarly motivated recreational athletes. Long open water swims, tough winter spin sessions, and long spring bike rides are simply more enjoyable in a group – and more successful – than if I do them on my own.
Brian GrayTriMuskoka is a group of amazing folks who manage to train and race as well as hosting a large number of endurance sporting events in Huntsville. Their efforts combined with a host of other volunteers help make our community unique.
Ray LoveTBeing part of this club has meant that I have done things I never thought I could do. I am that person who I used to aspire to be! The family of TriMuskokans believed in me, until I was able to believe in myself!.
Alison DumontTriMuskokanThe TriMuskokan is the race that made me love triathlons. The course is challenging but not impossible. The organizers are supportive and fielded everyone of my pre-race questions. I look forward to this event every year.
Roland CilliersMy very first experience with triathlons was at the first TriMuskokan race in 2015. It started with the Try-A-Try and it got me hooked. It’s a fun, challenging and confidence-building experience that I look forward to every year. It’s like being part of one big TriMuskokan family.
